Under Construction - Will Be Back Soon!
Welcome
Domestic violence is not always physical. Many people experience emotional abuse, manipulation, control, and isolation that leaves them feeling confused, overwhelmed, and alone.
Talk About DV is a peer-support community where people can talk openly about their experiences without fear of judgment.
Sometimes, the most powerful step toward healing is simply being heard.
Talk About DV was created to provide a safe place for people who may not feel comfortable speaking to friends or family about what they are going through.
Many survivors are told things like:
“Just leave.”
“It can't be that bad.”
“If it was abuse, you would have left already.”
But relationships affected by domestic violence are complicated. Many people return multiple times before leaving for good, and that does not make them weak.
You deserve support no matter where you are in your journey.
Inside the Let's Talk About DV community, you will find:
• A private space to talk openly
• People who understand emotional and psychological abuse
• Peer support without judgment
• A place to share experiences and feel less alone. This is not therapy, it is a supportive space for conversation and connection with people who are either living it, have lived it, or have a loved one who is going through it.
